The ascent will be steep through the Corralpunku Valley to the Llulluchayoc Zone, where some species of birds can be seen. Hopefully, we will see small hummingbirds, falcons, eagles, or maybe with a lot of luck we could see the king of the heights, the Condor, highly respected and venerated in the Andean culture.

From here, we will be able to see the summit and our goal, called Paso Warmiwañusca (The Dead Woman's Pass); we will continue hiking uphill for 2 more hours until we reach the highest pass. We will take a short rest before beginning the descent to Pacaymayo Valley, where our camp and dinner is.
